Initial Thoughts about novo x by smok

With simple design Smok published their device Novo x. It comes with 2 coils 0.8 ohm, I like the OLED screen in front of the device. Also, it is 800 mAh which is too good for a device small like that compared with other devices. It comes with a lot of color options which makes diversity. On the other hand, I would like if it comes with USB type C instead of micro usb. So, let’s describe the device in the next section and know more about novo X.

the Smok Novo Pod System with an air-driven system, easy to use and operate. the Refillable Pod can hold 2ml e-juice, with the two-way U-shaped airflow channel that can greatly increase the air inflow and produce ultra-smooth vapor with a comfortable throat.

There are two Replacement Pods available, the Pods with DC 0.8ohm Coil For MTL vaping and the Pods with 0.8ohm Mesh Coil for DL vaping. the 0.8ohm DC 0.8ohm MTL Coil can perfectly restore the flavor and throat-hit by adjusting the degree of flavor restoration, the Mesh Coil Pod will heat the e-juice fastly and evenly, will bring you the large vapor production.

Body

At the front, the OLED Screen is located at the bottom with power on button beneath it which also changes the wattage. Also, there is a pod on the top, between the pod and the body there is a juice window to see the liquid. The mouth piece a little bit wide which is going to be a little bit not comfy, I would prefer if it was more narrow. At the back of the body device, nothing more than the design itself with some text on it at the bottom. Both sides are the same, there is a U shape on the top of both sides for airflow. I liked the design and the size of the pod, it is very cool. at the bottom of the device there is an USB input.

Screen and Controls

It comes with OLED screen which is containing wattage, battery indicator, voltage and resistance. As I mentioned before, the power button under the screen controls the wattage and the powering.

Modes

• 5 clicks for powering on the device.
• 5 clicks a gain for powering off the device.
• 3 clicks to control the wattage.

Conclusion

Finally, I really love the device, with a very elegant design. It delivers the flavor pretty good, airflow is a little bit loose not tight. As mtl vapors we like it more tighter may be with covering one of U shape on the side to minimize the airflow. Also, I do a direct lung vaping with it, it is tighter, delivers the flavor very good. The battery with 800 mAh it is very suitable and its life time very good.
